Dear Partners and Friends in Christ

Greetings in the name of our wonderful and loving savior Jesus Christ.

Today I sat here thinking about the past ten years. The first of June will be ten years ago that we incorporated this ministry at the urging of a Brother Wilmouth who was the Arkansas District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God at that time. At the conclusion of a meeting that I had with him he said “Brother Janes, why don’t you incorporate your ministry. Just a few days later in the city of Russellville Arkansas we began the paperwork. Now ten successful years later, God is continuing to do a mighty work among the village people of Romania.

Today there are five churches which have been planted in five different villages. Four of the buildings are complete and the fifth on is still under construction. Within the next two months the roof will be put on the fifth building. The congregation is using the lower level of the building for services at the present time.

Many have been saved. I don’t want to exaggerate, but I can safely say hundreds. I have seen people come to the altar, weeping and giving their life to Christ. We have seen alcoholics saved and delivered instantly. We have seen people healed of heart trouble and other illnesses over the past ten years. We have seen hundreds baptized. As the Romanians say “I have decided to follow Jesus”. I think it is so very well said by each one. Many of those who decided to follow Jesus are preaching the Gospel. Cosika, our very first convert in the village of Tichindeal has preached the gospel in several of our churches. Audi, who was going to kill his wife because she accepted Christ, is now preaching the Gospel along with many others in the village churches. All of this has been made possible because of our faithful partners who support this ministry on a monthly basis. Your giving has made it possible to reach people that have never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel. Until the arrival of this ministry, the Gospel had never been preached in these four villages. Only the Orthodox Church was there and no salvation messages were being preached.

Just in the last two weeks I have received a report that eleven people will be baptized in our newest church located in the village of Ocna,  and there will be nine people baptized in the Hosman church within the next two weeks. God is saving souls and we praise and thank him for his love and mercy. Faye and I thank you for your support and help to make this all possible.

It seems so inadequate to just say thank you for all that you do. We know that God is keeping a much better record of all that you do in order to see his kingdom grow. Your support is essential and is so very much appreciated. May God richly bless you and keep his hand upon you the rest of the days of your life.

A Revival is taking place in Romanian villages

A week long revival in four of our village churches. The four churches came together for a revival resulting in people being saved and baptized. This is the results of your faithful support and partnering with this ministry. These are villages that have never had the gospel preached or never had a church until our arrival there.
