FEEDING THE POOR AND HURTING
THE BEGINNING AND PRESENT
In the middle of a snow storm in the village of Roshia Romania Dan was approached by a little girl by the name of Biancia. She asked for money for bread for her family. After
receiving some money she proceeded straight to a small village store and purchased two large loaves of bread. I had the opportunity to see where she lived. It was a room no larger than ten foot by
ten foot in size. Living there along with her parents and two other siblings. No food in the home other than the bread she purchased.
It was during that snowstorm that the Lord spoke to my heart to feed the people. It was not an audible voice but I recognized the voice. The Lord said feed the poor. I told the Lord I
did not have the resources to feed them. Again the Lord said feed them. Again my answer was the same. The third time the Lord said to feed them I was reminded of the scripture of the little boy with
five loaves of bread and two fish. It was what he had and gave to Jesus who multiplied it to feed the five thousand. It was then when my mind was opened and I said Lord I will be the channel as long
as you will be the source. The first year I set a budget of twenty five thousand dollars to feed the poor in this village. With in five months God gave us twenty six thousand dollars. A thousand more
than I had budgeted. This was the beginning of the feeding program, which grew to five villages after that. Below you will see pictures of our very first feeding in Roshia. The first pictures are of
Biabcia, Biancia and I, and Faye and I with her in front of their humble one room home and than a few pictures of the beginning in the year 2000. Thanks be unto God and each of our faithful partners
that has made it possible to distribute thousands up on thousands of pounds of food to the poor. We will continue to do so as long as we are able and by Gods grace and the help of our many faithful
partners.
