Dear Brother and Sister in Christ
Faye and I want to thank you for your support and help make it possible to help people such as Lilly and her son Nicu.
Lilly was saved in the Nocrich church when we planted it several years ago. She was living with her husband but were not legally married.
When she got saved he left her and told her she was a burden to him. God continued to work in her life as she grew in the Lord. Today she is a very good and loyal Sunday school teacher. She loves
teaching small children and pointing them in the right direction.
As you can see in the picture Nicu has recovered rapidly and God gets all the glory. Everyone at the hospital says it’s a miracle
of God. Most of these people know nothing about salvation and a relationship with the Lord.
Thank you for making it possible to help those that are hurting.

HAPPENED IN JULY 2009
SISTER LILI’S TESTIMONY REGARDING THE ACCIDENT OF HER ONLY SON NICU
First of all I want to thank God for his help and then I want to thank all those that helped
me in various ways to overcome this unfortunate accident.
I was working on the night shift, in the morning I arrived home very tired and sick and I
asked my only son Nicu to boil the beans that we had planned to can for the winter time. In order to make that happen faster we used an air tight container, about 10 gallons of
water. Nicu knew how to handle it because we’ve done this before together.
However, after the 10 gallons of water and beans was cooking for about 30 minutes
Nicu decided to open the air tight lid to see if the beans are ready for canning. At that moment all the 10 gallons of boiling water and beans made the lid of the container go
sky high and the contents of the pot came all on Nicu’s face, chest, hands, causing burns on his body for about 65% of the body, 3rd degree burns. In a split second, all the
skin from his face, chest, back, hands melted and were hanging from the body and because of the incredible pain Nicu started running through the fields screaming with pain from the top of his lungs.
The ambulance came immediately from Sibiu, 22 miles away and took him to Sibiu’s
children hospital and there they put him in the I.C.U.
The next day I went to the hospital and when I saw him, all his face and chest, abdomen
were as black as coals. He was practically a human burnt coal. I started crying bitterly especially since the doctors told me their prognosis is very bleak for his survival. The
burn was so deep that you could see his body’s tissues, there was no more skin, and the heat burnt him deep. He was going to have many surgeries and skin transplants.
Waiting for the proper time for the surgeries to start they put on him some artificial skin.
All through this time I did not cease to pray to God like this:
God have mercy on my only son. God have mercy on my only help. I have no husband;
he left me telling me I am too sick and a burden for him.
GOD MADE A MIRACLE!
After 5 days my son asked for food, that was the first good sign. Another week went by
and the doctors were getting ready to start the series of surgeries, but one day as they were changing his bandages they were amazed to see signs of the skin trying to
regenerate. They postponed the surgeries hoping the body will regenerate the skin on its own with the help of medicine treatment, without surgery.
God worked a miracle and Nicu healed up in an amazing way. It was a miracle for the
entire hospital. The doctors were amazed of how fast he was healing up. Although in the beginning he was given little chance of survival, now they were saying possibly in 4
or 5 months he will heal up.
Yet, we saw God perform a miracle healing. In 3 weeks God healed his body. His skin
is still sensitive, he is home together with me and together we praise God and ask him to complete the healing and leave not scars.
I thank God for his help, for me it is as God raised my son from the dead. A great
miracle God has performed in my life and has not forsaken me in the time of trouble. Ps.9:9
Many brothers and sisters prayed for Nicu and me in Nocrich, Hosman, Ocna, Sibiu and America.
I thank Brother Dan Janes and Sister Faye for helping me with their prayers and financial support.
I thank God because with his help and help from the brothers and sisters we overcame this tragic episode in our life.
