Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Thank you so very much for your support for the year 2008. Your support has made it possible to reach many lost souls for the kingdom of God and feed many hungry children as well as adults during the cold winter months. With out you along with other faithful partners this could not been have done. Those that have helped toward building the new church in Ocna Sibiului may God richly bless and reward each of you. The job is not finished but they are able to use the lower portion of the building for church. We installed two wood heaters while we were there for our Christmas trip and had over two hundred men, women and children for our Christmas program. One hundred and fifty Christmas bags containing seventeen items were passed out to the children in this church alone. Thank you and thank God for you.
We returned from our trip on the 11th of December. It was another wonderful and blessed trip. Over twenty-five people were saved in the five services held. One service in each of our churches. While delivering food bags into the home we had the opportunity to lead five husbands of women from the churches to the lord. It was such a blessing to pray the sinner’s prayer with them and hear them confess Jesus Christ as their lord and savior. These are men that never came to church with their wives. By delivering the food bags into the homes it gives us the opportunity to witness to the husbands and pray with the entire family. God is doing a mighty work among these five villages and you are an important part of what is taking place. There will be men; women and children in heaven that you have helped reach and you will meet them for the first time when we all get to heaven.
Each service the churches were packed. All of them were attended by two hundred men, women and children plus. In excess of eight hundred Christmas gift bags were passed out to the children. They were larger than last year’s bags. Thank you for helping to make this possible. It was such a blessing to share about Christmas and what it was all about. To share about a baby called Jesus who came to this earth so we might have a way to go to heaven. When the alter call was given many came weeping and ready to accept Christ as their savior. Many of those that came I have known for several years. One young lady by the name of Maria came along with her mother. Maria was a little girl only about six or seven years old when I first met her. This was the family we built the first house for several years ago. Now she is a teenager from the village of Tichindeal where we planted our first village church.
I could go on forever sharing and never run short of things to write and tell you. Some day when we all get to heaven we will hear the rest of the story. Thank you so very much for all that you do and may you have a blessed and Merry Christmas. We love and appreciate each of you.
